With one adjustable shelf behind each pair of center doors, 2 fixed shelves behind the left and right doors, 2 drawers behind the center doors and drop-in felt liners with silverware storage. Crafted of Poplar and Hardwood Solids with Maple Veneers, the buffet features a character-filled Speckled Gray finish with hand chiseling and multi-layer rub-through. Tear-drop hardware adds a sparkle of style. Inspired by the small farmhouses that dot the French and Italian countryside and have been in the hands of the same family for generations, Hooker Furniture introduces the rustic Ciao Bella Collection. The whole home collection is an eclectic mix of European farmhouse pieces that have the appearance of furniture that has been refinished multiple times as it has passed through the generations. Ciao Bella includes bedroom, dining room, occasional, home office and accent furniture, and features a finish called Timeworn Gray that accentuates the historical nature of European farmhouses – many of which include a variety of furniture styles that have been added by each generation of owners.

Finish: Speckled Gray finish. Distressing includes rasping, hand chiseling, worm holes, emolsion, multi-layer rub through, spatter, water marks, and cow tailing.
Finish Construction:
Hooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through handcraftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.
Frame Construction:
Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longerlasting furniture.
Drawer Construction:
Hooker Furniture offers full height, full depth and full width drawers for maximum storage capacity. All drawers have strong, time-tested English or French dovetail construction, for years of problemfree use. Plywood drawer bottoms are attached to plywood drawer sides for strength and durability. Metal side guides or wood on wood guide systems operate smoothly.
Headquartered in Martinsville, Va. where we maintain a corporate office and several distribution facilities, Hooker Furniture employs around 800 people at our Virginia and North Carolina locations. Our high-fashion custom upholstery by Sam Moore Furniture is manufactured in Bedford, Va. Much of our upscale leather upholstery line is manufactured in Hickory, N.C. by Bradington-Young. Hooker also imports an extensive line of wood bedroom, living room accents, dining room, home office and home entertainment furniture and some leather furniture from factories around the world. These include factories in Asia, Mexico and Central America. The design and engineering of these imported furnishings is all carefully overseen by Hooker or Bradington-Young in compliance with our high quality standards.
Hooker is known as an active, contributing corporate citizen in the Virginia and North Carolina communities in which we work and live. Our company is a leading contributor to charitable organizations such as the United Way, education and the arts, and our employees provide service to these organizations through volunteerism and board memberships. The Hooker Educational Foundation has awarded more than one million dollars in scholarships to over 300 children of company employees since its inception in the 1990's.
